FAQ

How long does the Digital Design Board Package take to be delivered?

Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

How long will the 3D Rendering Interior Package take?

The 3D Rendering package for one room can take between 3-4 weeks to be delivered. For whole house selections and rendering this can take longer, in particular if the house has large rooms that need a lot of furnishings. The reason this takes longer then the Digital Design Package is because we need time to make sure the renders, which are being produced, are to photo-realistic quality. We use highly detailed models in our renders and this can often increase rendering time. However, what you will recieve is a highly realistic 3D rendering which will greatly assist you in purchasing furniture for your space.

What is the process of creating the Design Packages?

  1. Complete the Design Questionnaire, including floorplan, photographs and inspiration images.

  2. Once the questionnaire is submitted and received we will contact you via email to confirm the information and if you have any further questions or information about the project we can answer them before the design process begins.

  3. After we have confirmed your information we start with your floorplan and work on creating a suitable layout for your space.

  4.  From the provided inspiration images and information from our questionnaire we source furniture and décor items that best suit your space and style.

  5. We then model your room.

- For 3D renderings we will use your floorplan’s and provided photographs and model your room according to the dimensions. Once the room is modeled we then set up the lighting and finishes for the room and the space is then rendered.

- For the Digital Design Boards we refer more on the provided photographs. From these images we then create the furnished design boards.

   6. On the completion of the design we then establish a product list, which refer to our designs and maintain to your budget requirements.  We take into consideration your location and any stores and sites you have requested.

  7. The booklet is then created including the floorplan, renderings and product list. An explanation to the choices made are added to each of the sections together with layout, colour scheme and fabric selections.

8.The booklet is then emailed to you and the process of furnishing your room can begin!

- The PDF is made for print however you will also receive separate jpegs of your room renderings or digital design boards.

I like a store in my local area but they don’t have a website or their website doesn’t show their full furniture or décor collection. What can I do if I would like you to include items from this store into the design booklet and product list?

We suggest you take take photos and send them to us and we will include these items in your package. If the store sells different brands we suggest taking note of the brands they sell and from this information we can then include them in your package.

I want to purchase the 3D rendering package, although I have an item of furniture that I would like to keep in my room, however this item was custom made. How will you be able to incorporate this in the 3D model?

Custom designed furniture will require customisation of the 3d model to suit. This may incur additional fees, which can be discussed prior to commissioning the project. We can however, provide an alternative model that is similar to your custom made furniture for effect. For example If you have a custom made sofa in a particular fabric, our suggestion is to take a photo of the furniture piece and send it to us via email. We then suggest you take a photograph of the fabric and send that to us as well. While we may not be able to get an exact replica of your furniture piece we can still include the fabric to the similar model we have found.

I want to purchase a Design Package, but I don’t have a floor plan I can provide you. What can I do?

If you don’t have a floorplan you can send us a simple hand drawn one. We understand that not everyone has a professional floorplan to provide us with, so creating a basic outline of your room is the next best thing. If you have never drawn up a floor plan before this article with pictures by WikiHow.com will show you how to draw a floorplan to scale. Remember it is important to measure the lengths of all walls, the length and height of every window and door in the room and measure the dimensions of any architectural features in the room such as fireplace’s, counters etc.

If you have any furniture items you would like to keep please measure the width, height and depth of each item.
